Who We Are

Silver Spring Neighborhood Center is a nonprofit, social services organization located on Milwaukee's northwest side. In fact, Silver Spring is located in Westlawn, Wisconsin's largest public housing development.

Founded on a settlement house model, Silver Spring offers programs that respond to the changing needs of the community. Silver Spring offers a wide spectrum of services--ranging from prenatal care coordination to senior programs--in one facility and serves everyone from infants to seniors.

Each year, Silver Spring serves more than 8,000 individuals in families, including more than 1,600 youth. Silver Spring remains the only youth serving agency on Milwaukee's northwest side and one of a few comprehensive social service agencies in Milwaukee.
