Are you part of a group that is looking to make a difference in people's lives? Bring your team of 5 - 8 adults to help with a Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin (FAEW) Mobile Food Pantry at JFS Housing, Inc. in Brown Deer. The pantry serves residents of Deerwood Crossing, Bradley & Weinberg Residences and the participants of the Senior Nutrition Site in Brown Deer by bringing some food security into their lives.
Volunteers will help with unloading the Feeding America truck, setting up food distribution tables, distributing food to pantry participants, escorting people through the pantry who need assistance and closing up the pantry. Snacks and water will be provided. Dress for comfort and the weather.
The Mobile Food Pantry takes place on Thursday, July 13 - 9:30AM - 12:30PM.
