Volunteer: Donation-pick-upAdvocates of Ozaukee is a domestic violence and sexual assault shelter that is located in a non-disclosed area for the safety of our clients. We are looking for volunteers within the community to pick-up donations from local donor's residence and transport those donations to our shelter location. Volunteers must have a valid drivers license, vehicle and car insurance. This volunteer opportunity allows individuals to have perform a contact-free pick-up and drop off of the donations to ensure everyone's safety at this time. You do not need to wear a mask unless you are inside of a building or outside and within 6-feet of a donor, another volunteer, or Advocates Staff. Masks will be provided, if needed! “How to” videos- volunteers would create a short “how to” video and send to Volunteer Manager for Advocates to post on our new Youtube Page for clients to watch when they need additional support and education. Some examples are “How to open a bank account” or “How to set up a personal budget”. VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITY
Videos reading children’s books- volunteers would record themselves reading one of our educational children’s books such as books pertaining to healthy relationships, self-esteem, and healthy coping techniques.
