Join us at Project Homeless Connect at Carroll University (Campus Center)!
What is Project Homeless Connect?
-
Project Homeless Connect is a unique event that brings a variety of resources under one roof to help individuals experiencing homelessness gain access to their basic needs. Resources provided at this event include everything from free haircuts to resume coaching. Volunteering at this event gives you the opportunity to both brighten the lives of these individuals and to help create an immeasurable, positive impact on Waukesha County!
Volunteer Opportunity Description:
-
Guest Advocate Volunteers will act as a guide to help our community members navigate through the resources and services provided throughout the campus center at Carroll University. You will interact one-to-one with an individual until all needed services/resources have been visited. Volunteers will remain with their guest throughout the duration of their visit to be sure all needs are met for the day and assist them with a brief survey regarding their event experience. When the guest leaves, the Guest Advocates will then return to the intake area to escort another guest.
