- Project Homeless Connect is a unique event that brings a variety of resources under one roof to help individuals experiencing homelessness gain access to their basic needs. Resources provided at this event include everything from free haircuts to resume coaching. Volunteering at this event gives you the opportunity to both brighten the lives of these individuals and to help create an immeasurable positive impact on our Waukesha Community!
Hairdressers and Barbers Needed!

Hairdressers and Barbers will be assisting clients facing homelessness by supplying haircuts

Hairdressers and Barbers must have a minimum of 6 months of experience

Hairdressers and Barbers currently in cosemtology school who would like to volunteer must contact Lori Hayes at lhayes@unitedwaygmwc.org

The only thing that will be provided are electrical outlets and extension cords
Last year, over 700 clients experiencing homelessness received resources at our Milwaukee event. Haircuts are very important because it is one of the most requested services! Be part of something greater and volunteer your specialized skills that day!
