The Backpack Coalition is dedicated to helping kids be successful in school by starting the year off on a good note with a backpack full of school supplies. Help us reach our goal of over 5,000 backpacks into the hands of kids that need our help the most!
Packing backpacks is a great way to work together as a team and create a lot of impact in a little amount of time. Join us at United Way's Johnson Controls Volunteer Center. Volunteers will assist with sorting supplies and packing them into backpacks based on the specific school supply lists from the schools.
Each volunteer must register themselves. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older (unless volunteering with a parent/guardian, then we will accept volunteers ages 13 and up). Look forward to a few fun and impactful hours!
