Come volunteer at a fun family event encouraging literacy at home!
At Family Literacy Night, all classrooms are opened on the first floor and each host a different family literacy activity including making arts and crafts related to different books and space for family reading time. Dinner is also provided. Lincoln Avenue School is a part of the Milwaukee Community Schools Partnership. Read more about the great things this collective strategy is accomplishing here.
Volunteers are needed to help with the literacy stations and crafts, set up for and serve food, and clean up post event.
