If you are looking for an opportunity to volunteer for a fun and unique event, this is it! NAMI Waukesha hosts a fun and exciting event called Blue Jean Bingo each year. Blue Jean Bingo includes an all-you-can-eat fish fry buffet, licensed bingo event with cash prizes, silent and voice auctions and much more.
Volunteers need to arrive by 6:00 pm . Volunteers are needed to assist in distributing bingo packets for licensed bingo event including pre-registered packets and packets bought at the door.
There are two options available for volunteers interested in assisting with selling bingo packets:
Sales on Bingo Floor
Time Commitment: 3.5 Hours from 6:00 pm– 9:30 pm
Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for 2-3 hours at a time. Interact with individuals in a busy setting, ability to collect money and count change
Sales at Bingo Table
Time Commitment: 2 Hours from 6:00-8:00 pm
Requirements: Individuals will be sitting at a table where individuals will come to pick up pre registered bingo packet and purchase bingo packets. Ability to interact with others, count change, and follow checklist
Volunteers are asked to attend a Volunteer Orientation on Wednesday, May 1st at 5:00 PM at NAMI Waukesha 217 Wisconsin Ave Suite 307, Waukesha WI.
All funds raised at Blue Jean Bingo will be use to provide support, education and advocacy for individuals and families impacted by mental health conditions in our community.
