Want to make a meaningful impact for children with vision loss? Join us in making literacy accessible for children who are blind or visually impaired. A small group of 5 volunteers are needed to assist us in making “Beginning Braille Literacy Kits” and placing braille labels on board books. With your help, children and families will be able to take these kits home to learn the alphabet and add a few accessible books to their libraries.
To make this project possible, we are asking volunteers to donate a total of 24 muffin pans (6 cup only) and 200 plastic eggs. If you have interest in donating any new or gently used board books, please let us know.
