Help us celebrate survivors and spread awareness of the resources available to families in crisis! In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Sojourner is hosting a 5K Walk/Run followed by a trick or treat party for the kids. We're looking forward to a fun, family-friendly event that will offer information and hope to survivors in our community. Volunteers will be distributed among the following activities:
- set up
- check in
- 5K cheerleaders/traffic directors
- trick or treat party captains
- clean up
Volunteers should plan for an active day, so dress comfortably, and plan to be outside! We also encourage volunteers to wear purple in honor of domestic violence survivors
