Responsibilities:
- Maintain a welcoming environment for patients under our care.
- Assist with non-medical tasks such as discharging patients, assisting nursing staff to contribute to smooth and efficient workflow.
- Provide clerical support to caregiver staff such as answering the phone, answering call lights, collating admission packets, making copies, review Welcome letter with patient.
- Refresh water.
- Restock supplies.
- Straighten up department. Pick up garbage off floor, empty garbage and replace full linen bags.
All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.
