During the winter months, the youth at our emergency shelter don't get to hang outside much. As an alternative, the youth can hang out in the rec room in the basement. We are looking for ways to best maximize this space. This volunteer opportunity includes the following tasks:
- Sort through and categorize food donations by expiration date.
- Vacuum rec area
- Sweep laundry room area
- Dust off furniture and shelves
- We are also looking for new activities to add to the rec room (e.g a new air hockey table, ping pong table etc.) If you are able to donate something but are unable to help with cleaning that's okay!
