We need a group that is looking to make a difference in people's lives. Bring your team of 5 - 8 adults to help with a Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin (FAEW) Mobile Food Pantry at JFS Housing, Inc. in Brown Deer on Thursday, March 8th, 9:30AM - Noon. The pantry serves residents of Deerwood Crossing, Bradley & Weinberg Residences and the participants of the Senior Nutrition Site in Brown Deer by bringing some food security into their lives.
Volunteers will help with unloading the Feeding America truck, carrying food items to food distribution tables and escorting people through the pantry who need assistance. Snacks and water will be provided. Dress for comfort, lifting, walking and the weather.
JFS Housing, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jewish Family Services which has provided comprehensive social services for the Milwaukee community since 1867.
