Waukesha Free Clinic, Wisconsin’s longest-running charitable clinic, is seeking volunteers to support our mission of providing free, high-quality healthcare to uninsured and underserved individuals in Waukesha County.
As a volunteer, you’ll join a dedicated team of providers, interpreters, and students making a real impact—whether you help once a month or once a week. Your clinical skills can make a life-changing difference for patients facing significant barriers to care.
How You’ll Help:
- Assist with patient triage and vital signs
- Support chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) with education
- Help with documentation
- Serve as a calming, expert presence for patients in need
· The ability to effectively interact with sensitivity with people from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial, ethnic, and professional backgrounds, and people of all ages and lifestyles

What are the requirements:
Current Wisconsin License
- At least 21 years
- Complete application process (including orientation)
- Sensitivity and a clear understanding of patient confidentiality
- Minimal commitment of 6 months

Must complete general orientation provided on site and participate in on-the-job training provided by staff and/or trained volunteers.
