Volunteers are the HEART of Heartland Hospice! Do you know how to play an instrument and/or enjoy singing? We are looking for more special individuals in Milwaukee, or a surrounding community, to join our growing team of superstar volunteers! Musician volunteers enrich the lives of hospice patients by sharing their time and talents during social visits. In addition to providing music, volunteers provide much-needed companionship and one-on-one support.
Service hours are extremely flexible and scheduled according to your availability and location. Musician volunteers have the power to bring the greatest gifts to our patients lives... uplifting music, relaxation and reassurance during what often can be a very difficult and sensitive time. Musician volunteer requirements: must be at least 18-years-old; complete application paperwork, including background and reference check; attend volunteer orientation; complete a TB test.
