The Fulfillment (FUL) activity on a disaster relief operation (DRO) supports congregate shelter sites by resourcing and delivering materials during daily site visits throughout the disaster operation.
- Receive and deliver material supply requests from congregate shelter sites
- Develop strong relationships with shelters and deliver customer-centric solutions
- Organize and load supplies into delivery vehicles
- Provide feedback on unmet shelter needs to supervisor
- Help shelter sites monitor inventory levels and project future material requests
- Drive larger vehicles to deliver materials to shelters (e.g., 16’ box trucks, cargo vans, etc.)
- Participate in all staff meetings and review and complete daily reports as requested
- Efficiently report the status of assigned responsibilities and tasks
- Ensure that work is carried out in alignment with our fundamental principles and within established guidelines

Qualifications:
Required:
- Comfortable working independently and within a team
- Familiarity with the proper moving, lifting and storing of material
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable driving larger vehicles (e.g., 16’ box truck, cargo van, etc.)
- Ability to function in a dynamic and stressful environment
- Ability to organize, plan, and allocate resources while using materials and space effectively
- Ability to interact with shelters in a compassionate manner and with a customer-centric focus
- Ability to appropriately involve others in managing problems and conflict
- Ability to acquire, evaluate, and report information accurately
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good active listening skills and ability to work well with others
- Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies
