Join Us as a Volunteer Board of Director
Vital Voices is seeking Volunteers to share their voice and serve the community as a Board of Director member. Vital Voices plays a critical role as the voice of the people - advocating for quality services to improve lives and advance recovery for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
Our non-profit advocacy organization located in Milwaukee, WI, conducts consumer interviews and assessment surveys to measure and evaluate the quality, satisfaction, and accessibility of provider service benefits. The goal of the assessment process is to implement improvements in health services by enhancing best practices for client care, treatment, and recovery. Other services we offer include the Telephone Reassurance Program, a daily wellness call, for seniors living alone, and a consumer Phone Helpline, addressing questions and concerns about provider services

As a member of the Board, you will have the opportunity to represent Vital Voices, give back to the community, and serve on program committees while learning valuable leadership, non-profit and advocacy skills while gaining hands-on experience.

Board Member Description:
- Active participation in fulfilling our values, policies and mission
- Lead policy, monitor budgets, management and oversight of the Organization, in collaboration with other Board Members
- Attend Board Meetings with an opportunity to work on various Program committees including fund raising, finance and HR
Experience/Skills:
- Excited about joining our small non-profit and helping others in need
- Background in Fund Raising, IT, Accounting and/or HR is helpful
