Intake Volunteer to assist our guests attending Project Homeless Connect.
Skilled volunteers with experience in social services will be responsible for signing in guests and collecting basic data. The volunteer will interact one-to-one with the guest to fill out a 10 question form asking personal data regarding their living status. Also during the conversation, they will identify the services the individual would like or need to visit during their day. Volunteers will explain clearing the available services. Once paperwork is complete, the Intake Volunteer will transition the individual to the Guest Advocate. Paper forms are to be filed in a confidential folder provided at the intake station.
This annual event is part of the 10 year plan to end homelessness and we look to assist over 400 guests this year. With your help, we will provide lifesaving services in one place. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure you have the best volunteer experience possible while providing a quality experience for our guests.
