Could be any day the week of August 21! Any time frame M-F between 7:30 and 3:00.....Come help the teachers and staff of Penfield Montessori Academy get their rooms set up, and the building ready for school, after a big summer of construction! An elevator and all new first floor windows were added to the building, and finally the teachers can get in to get ready!
Penfield Montessori is a non-profit public school chartered through UW-Milwaukee, serving children living in an economically challenged part of Milwaukee (91% below poverty). There is no charge for the children to attend, and Penfield Montessori has students who are gifted, typically developing and children with a diagnosis of special needs. Making Montessori education, which focuses on the individual, available as a public school, is a new national model of what great education is.
