Our compassionate and highly specialized teams are experts and innovators in the field of gender-responsive, trauma-informed substance use disorder treatment for women. Meta House is made up of a Leadership Team, Administration Team, Child & Family Team, Clinical Team, Development Team, Direct Service Team & Evaluations Team.
What We Do
Meta House, Inc. is a nationally recognized nonprofit that provides gender-responsive substance use treatment for women in the Milwaukee area. As one of the first substance use treatment centers in the nation to include children in the residential setting, Meta House provides a comprehensive program that addresses the unique needs of women, especially those who are mothers or pregnant. In addition to treatment for alcohol and other drug use, Meta House provides trauma counseling, job readiness skills and parenting classes to its clients. These services are offered through three treatment settings: residential, outpatient and transitional housing.
