Who We Are

IMPACT helps people take the first step toward changing their life, for good. We assess and guide those experiencing personal crisis toward resources to achieve stability; and collaborate with community partners to foster system improvement. We do this through:

  • Comprehensive assessment of complex problems
  • Expert navigation and connection to appropriate resources
  • Collection, analysis and interpretation of data
  • Implementation of research-based planning and process evaluation

IMPACT's 2-1-1 call center serves as a central access point for Wisconsin residents during times of personal crisis and community disaster. The free, confidential helpline and online resource database make it easy to get connected to critical information and immediate assistance 24-hours a day.

IMPACT Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services includes free consultation and referral for people who are concerned about themselves or a loved one; as well as comprehensive substance abuse screening and assessment to determine eligibility for education, counseling, treatment and recovery support services. Our awareness campaigns help shine a light on the consequences associated with risky drinking.

IMPACT's Planning & Evaluation solutions help public leaders, decision makers and service providers improve the well-being of Wisconsin residents and strengthen local communities. Nonprofit organizations, government agencies, businesses, foundations and policy makers utilize our recommendations and expertise in determining best practices, evaluating data, and assembling stakeholders relevant to pursuing their mission, goals and projects.

What We Do

IMPACT is committed to changing lives, for good. Building on our nearly 60-year history, we provide the essential first step toward regaining personal stability, and collaborate to advance health and human services throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.

Each year, IMPACT connects nearly 300,000 people with services that help restore health, enhance productivity and foster system improvement.

IMPACT’s role is to thoroughly and compassionately assess people’s needs, actively connect them to appropriate community resources, and work with service providers to deliver services that ultimately produce positive outcomes.
