Who We Are

The Milwaukee Urban League is one of the oldest National Urban League affiliates dedicated to providing direct services, research, and advocacy for African Americans and other minorities. Since 1919 the Milwaukee Urban League has been a catalyst for social justice and change. Milwaukee Urban League challenges inequalities and provides much needed services to the African American Community. Securing self sufficiency the MUL's mission, is the key to personal empowerment and community development.

What We Do

The Milwaukee Urban League provides essential services, results-oriented programming to help African-Americans achieve economic self-sufficiency, parity, power and civil rights. A dedicated team of staff and volunteers with community partners open doors to equal participation in the social and economic mainstream through information, knowledge, skill development, and advocacy.
