The HaRUNbee: Walk/Run for Healthy Birth Outcomes was designed to raise awareness and to prevent infant mortality in Milwaukee, WI.
Organized by the Milwaukee Lifecourse Initiative for Healthy Families (LIHF), the event's mission is to promote wellness by encouraging families to stay healthy and fit, both mentally and physically.
The inaugural walk/run will take place as a part of Bronzeville Week starting at the intersection of North Avenue and Martin Luther King Dr. Participants will have the option of walking or running. Babies in strollers are welcome!

LIHF is a community-wide collaborative led by the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County, working to eliminate racial disparities in birth outcomes and ensure more babies reach their first birthday. It is funded through the UW School of Medicine and Public Health from the Wisconsin Partnership Program.
