Seven times a day, someone dies in a home fire. The American Red Cross has launched a nationwide campaign to reduce fire fatalities and injuries by 25% in 5 years. Help us save lives and prevent injuries!
Join us for just 1 day and make a BIG impact:
• Go door-to door as a team of volunteers
• Speak with residents about the importance of smoke alarms
• Install free smoke alarms, replace batteries and teach residents how to test and maintain their smoke alarms
• Help residents develop a fire escape plan and complete a fire-safety checklist
Must be 18 or older to participate, 16 with gaurdian.
