Spring has arrived and you’ve just been invited to help us make this year’s Stride and Glide Event the best ever, AGAIN! Last year you were part of an elite group of volunteers that helped put on an amazing event. Last year IndependenceFirst raise over $25,000! The funds raised at this event helps IndependenceFirst serve people with disabilities in the four county metropolitan Milwaukee area: Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, and Waukesha. The mission of IndependenceFirst is to effectively facilitate empowerment of individuals with disabilities through the core services of: Advocacy, Independent Living Skills, Information and Referral, Peer Support and Transition.
Join former Packer, LeRoy Butler at our 10th annual Stride & Glide Event. In addition to joining LeRoy Butler you’ll also receive a t-shirt and a tasty lunch (mmmm). Please find attached information on how to sign up any friends or family as a volunteer for the 10th Annual Stride and Glide event, Saturday, June 15, 2019.
