Our programs include homebuyer counseling, free tax preparation services, employment support, financial counseling, a loan program for credit-challenged clients, and a Lead-Safe Homes initiative.
Position Summary, the Program Support Assistant (Volunteer) provides essential administrative and program support across multiple community service programs. This role helps ensure smooth daily operations and positive client experiences while supporting staff who deliver critical services to the community.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with general office and administrative tasks (filing, copying, data entry)
Support client intake and appointment scheduling
Help prepare and organize program materials and client packets
Answer phones and greet clients in a professional and welcoming manner
Assist staff with special projects, outreach, and events as needed
Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times
Qualifications
Strong organizational and communication skills
Basic computer skills (email, data entry, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)
Friendly, reliable, and professional demeanor Interest in community service, financial empowerment, or housing stability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bilingual Spanish skills are helpful but not required
Time Commitment
Flexible scheduling available Minimum commitment of 4 hours per week (adjust as needed)
