Join the Milwaukee Christian Center to help build strong neighborhoods full of opportunities at our first event in-person fundraising event, A Celebration of Strong Neighborhoods. This event features delicious appetizers, live music, a silent and live auction and engaging program.
THE WHAT:
Help wrap up the event by helping guests retrieve their purchased auction items at the end of the event and then help tear down the remainder of the event. Silent Auction Volunteers need to arrive by 6:30 pm, in order to assist with closing down the silent auction, checking out and distributing items to winners.
This opportunity is perfect for an individual who is looking for a short evening opportunity. Check-Out and Clean-Up Volunteers will assist with gathering auction items for guests and helping take down and pack up any other event related items at the end of the event.
THE WHY:
Milwaukee Christian Center benefits from each dollar raised at this event, serving people right here in our community in the areas of housing, food security, youth development and older adult support services. Your help is CRUCIAL in making this happen.
THE DETAILS:
Time Commitment: 2.25 Hours from 6:15 pm-8:30 pm
Requirements: Ability to interact verbally with individuals in a fast-paced environment.
Volunteers are asked to attend the Volunteer Orientation which will begin promptly at 6:15 PM on 8/25
