Join the Milwaukee Christian Center to help build strong neighborhoods full of opportunities at our annual fundraising event, A Celebration of Strong Neighborhoods. This event features delicious appetizers, live music, a silent and live auction and engaging program.
THE WHAT:
Would you consider yourself a people person, who is tech savvy and thrives in a fast-paced environment? Then this is the opportunity for you! Mobile Bidding Assistants will assist guests with check-in and adding payment information to their mobile bidding profile so they can bid on silent auction items, will help guests add bids and troubleshoot, and will help check auction winners out at the end of the night.
THE WHY:
Milwaukee Christian Center benefits from each dollar raised at this event, serving people right here in our community in the areas of housing, food security, youth development and older adult support services. Your help is CRUCIAL in making this happen.
THE DETAILS:
Time Commitment: 4.5 Hours from 4:00 pm-8:30 pm
Requirements: Ability to interact verbally with individuals in a fast-paced environment. Ability to move around event venue and interact with guests. Ability to understand technology and accurately enter information.
Volunteers are asked to attend a 30-minute pre-event Volunteer Orientation at 12PM on Monday 8/14 as well the on-site Volunteer Orientation which will begin promptly at 4:00 PM on 8/24.
