Do you have a passion for helping our Milwaukee neighbors access healthy, fresh food? We would love to have you on the team!

As a Food Pantry Shopping Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in creating a warm, positive, and supportive environment for our clients. In this role, you will:

• Work one-on-one with clients to help them select food items.

• Ensure client needs are met with dignity, respect, and a friendly smile.

• Foster a welcoming and respectful shopping experience from start to finish.

How to Get Started:

Volunteering with Milwaukee Community Crossroads (MCC) is a quick and rewarding process. Just follow these steps:

1. Submit Your Application: You’ll need to complete the official volunteer paperwork before your first shift.
2. Application Processing: Our Volunteer Coordinator, Arlene Gonzalez, will review your application. This typically takes just 1 to 2 business days.
3. Start Volunteering: Once Arlene processes your application, you’ll be all set to choose a shift and make a difference!
