The KIDS MUSICFEST is an opportunity for local kids and their families to have fun exploring the world of music and takes place on Sunday, November 10th from 11:00am to 4:00pm at 325 W Walnut St., Milwaukee, WI 53212. There will be many fun components to this opportunity, including:
The Star Stage: Highlighting our area's best youth ensembles.
- Find Your Voice Stage: Turn your nerves into energy with singing workshops & Karaoke.
- Drumming Den: Feel the beat with percussionist-led drum circles.
- Music Reading Round- up: Learn notes in a ash! Ukeles & recorders provided.
- Tech Lab: Make your own music using Bandlab & GarageBand software.
- Creation Station: Build your own instruments. Create your own art.
- BookNook: Relax with quiet time & STory time for little ones.
- Instrument Petting Zoo: Try out your dream instruments with pros who play them!
- Resource Fair: Connect with area arts groups to learn about opportunities for kids.
- Food Zone: Food & beverages available for purchase.
Volunteers are needed for various portions of the event, ranging from set-up, to stage management, to room leader assistance, to providing directional information.
