Are you a high school student? Join our youth shelter volunteer team as a Peer Counselor!

Are you high school student who is a positive role model for your peers? Would you like to learn valuable skills to list on job or college applications? Fulfill a need and volunteer as a Peer Counselor to youth, ages 11 to 17. You will assist with the recreational and counseling needs of peers in crisis who seek our services. Provide a link between residents and staff, participate in group sessions and promote good relationships. Hours are flexible (weekdays, weekends or evenings) with a minimum commitment of 3 hours per week for at least 3 months.
