Kettle Classic simply couldn’t exist without the help of our hardworking volunteers. By volunteering, you get the chance to participate in an exciting event...and do your part to help spread awareness of Lad Lake. Lad Lake works with at-risk youth and families in Southeastern Wisconsin focusing on Education, Independent Living, Mentoring, and Residential Services.

Around the Course” Directional Volunteers

Volunteers must be dressed for the weather and plan to be outside for at least two hours once the route starts.  Volunteers must also have cell phones with them on the course for emergency purposes. Folding chair highly recommended. *** Time might vary   

?    Need approximately 22 course volunteers to arrive at 7:00 a.m. Course volunteers for  routes will be done at about 11:30 a.m. 

 Transportation will be provided out to their spots around the course. For a quicker pick up may be asked to use own vehicle if willing. 

Water Station Volunteers

Need 3 volunteers (at least one with a vehicle) to arrive at 7 a.m. Volunteers will fill coolers with water, transport coolers to water stations and set up water station. Volunteers setting up the water station will also set up the food station helping with sandwiches and oranges.

 FOOD

Food Volunteers: Need 3 volunteers: Help prepare and serve buffet lunch. Help carry items to and from proper location before and after event.

Clean Up Volunteers

Need volunteers who are willing to stay after the event have lunch and help put the campus back together. (Picking up signs, helping to carry food back to the proper location, and cleaning up any trash on the grounds)

Misc Volunteers

• Runners – check in race/walkers and pull packets and shirts (arrive at 7:15 a.m.)
• Need direction volunteers to direct event participants (arrive at 7:30 a.m.) – dress for the weather and be prepared to be outside.
• Kid- 8- area volunteers - help with face painting, craft station and games station (arrive at 7:30a.m.)
• Need 2 volunteer drivers with vans to move supplies to various stations and also transport volunteers to their work stations.
