A team of 5 Seder Helpers is needed to help with a Passover Seder being held at Jewish Family Services for Disabilities Case Management clients who are individuals with mental illness or developmental disabilities. Helpers would assist with setting up food service, serving food, enjoying the seder meal with the clients and helping to clear the room.
The Passover seder will take place at Jewish Family Services, 1300 N. Jackson St. on Friday, April 15th, 10:00AM - 1:00PM. Dress would be very business casual so people can be appropriate for a seder but able to work with food and beverages as well. Team members do not need to be Jewish to participate.
The Disabilities Case Management Passover Seder offers an opportunity to clients who would otherwise not have an opportunity to attend a seder to be part of one with friends and JFS staff. It also offers clients who are not Jewish, the chance to be with friends and celebrate a holiday together.
