Help give children the powerful gift of new books to help them flourish into strong readers.
What is this event?
United Way partners with Scholastic Inc. to host Scholastic book fairs at 5 local Waukesha Public Schools. At these book fairs each student gets to pick out 3 free books to bring home with them and create their very own library.
Volunteer at this event:
- Help students pick out books
- Help keep books organized
- Assist with check-out process of books
Shift times:
Select one shift or select two and stay for the day!
- May 23rd, 8am-11am (3 hrs.)
- May 23rd, 11am-2:30pm (3.5 hrs.)
Times may vary anywhere between 7:30 - 3:00 pm depending on school.
Other Information:
Teams of 2-4 per shift are accepted!
