March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’ birthday and every school in Milwaukee Public Schools is throwing a reading party to celebrate!
In elementary schools, volunteers will be reading a book, or maybe two if you’re lucky, to a classroom of eager students who are aspiring readers. If you volunteer in a middle or high school, you’ll work with students on a brief literacy project. Schools will host volunteers from either 8:30am – 9:30 a.m. or 9:30am – 10:30 a.m.
