Sept. 21, from 1-4 p.m.! Volunteers will be helping pack "toolkits", bags handed out at schools and events with books and info on understanding differences! Volunteers will also be helping with outdoor clean-up and other activities! Also helping with children and other activities!
Our children come (95%) from homes below the US poverty level; 80% have a diagnosis of special needs. They are little, infant to age six, and our goal is to give them the best start possible, with early education and intervention. We provide therapy as needed (Occupational, Physical, Behavioral and Speech) and have a Special Care Nursery for children who are medically fragile, which is RN supervised. Your help with the children (they love big buddies) and with prep tasks is very appreciated!
