Boys & Girls Clubs is looking for volunteers to support our Celebrating G.I.R.L.S. event on Monday, November 4th.
Event Overview: Celebrating G.I.R.L.S presented by Herzing University is an event that highlights G.I.R.L. (Growing Inspirational Responsible Leaders) programming with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. It’s a chance for our guests to interact with a group of our female Club members. The event features exhibits showcasing different program areas, an art auction, an opportunity sale and more!

Volunteer Descriptions
Greeters - Volunteers will greet all guests with warm, smiling welcome. Volunteers will open doors for guests and direct them to the Registration & Check-In table.
Coat Check – Volunteers will help guests check in and out jackets and other personal items.
Registration - Volunteers will greet guests, pass out programs, nametags and lanyards to guests. Volunteers will then direct guests to the coat check area. Guests not on the list will be directed to the Help Desk. Guests will be encouraged to mingle with girls at the exhibits, to purchase opportunities and bid on art pieces.
Art Auction Assistant – Explain art auction bidding process. Guests have the option to bid or “buy now” on gesture. Auction will end at 7:10 p.m. Volunteers will inform guests that if they wish to pay in cash, they will need to go to the registration desk. At auction close, volunteers will help wrap up pieces for winners to take home.
Event Assistant – Volunteers will be present inside the grand ballroom to help guests get oriented to the activities and timeline for the evening. Volunteers will be given an overview of the 5 to discuss with guests.
