Volunteer to Welcome VITA Clients On Saturday, March 23 from 9:00am to 2:00pm, United Way's Johnson Control Volunteer Center will be hosting Super Saturday, an event that welcomes the community to receive free tax prep through VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program).
Volunteer to welcome guests, direct them to different areas of the Volunteer Center for a variety of activities and assist with lunch. The site will not only help clients prepare their taxes but there will also be budget coaching, a child's area, beverages will be served at our coffee bar and lunch will be available.
The United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County is working with the Social Development Commission to continue it's service of VITA providing free tax services to members of the community who need it the most. The new United Way Volunteer Center sponsored by Johnson Controls, Inc., is also open on scheduled days during the week as a site for Free Tax Prep for the Wisconsin Homestead Credit.
