The Home Fire Campaign provides free smoke alarms to residents, and fire prevention education. This program provides working smoke alarms for residents that need them and truly saves lives! Working in teams with Red Cross Volunteers, or West Bend Firefighters/EMTs, volunteers will be going to residences door to door in West Bend to install smoke alarms and provide home fire prevention information. All training and needed supplies will be provided. Volunteers should dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Volunteers will be tasked with either installing smoke alarms (training and tools will be provided), providing prevention education to residents, and completing required paperwork.
