When we see survivors, we're able to provide them with necessary items such as: new clothes, hygiene products, and distraction items. Sometimes survivors have to give up clothing for evidence kits, or are living in a stable home so need hygiene products, or just need a simple distraction from their racing minds.
Storing these items takes a lot of space, and it can be time consuming for our team to be constantly stocking our store rooms or organizing new donations. The more time it takes to find some of these items, the less time our team can be present with a patient.
A team of volunteers to assist in organizing these items and restocking our storage rooms would be immensely helpful to our program. We have bins and other organizational materials--we just need the people power to help us stock things in an efficient and organized manner.
