The Volunteer Respite Care Program is a part of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin- Community Services. The program offers respite care to children with special needs and their siblings, ages 0-21, in a supervised, safe, and supportive day camp-like setting. Events are held an average of 8 times a year in collaboration with community partners.
The Volunteer Respite Care Program is in need of donations of new board games to be utilized at respite events. Choose and share a game you enjoyed playing with growing up or a list of ideas can be provided to you when responding to this post. Please contact Sondra Russell at srussell@chw.org to arrange pick up/drop off of any donated items.
