Free Store is an opportunity for Sojourner shelter residents and clients to receive donations of clothes, accessories, toys, games, DVD’s, beauty and hair products and more. We are looking for a volunteer that would be willing to manage our Free Store on a monthly basis. Below are some details about the store and the process.Free Store is held once a month on the second Wed of the month from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM in one of our meeting spaces.
Set up is scheduled from 8:00 -9:30 AM and tear down from 3:30 – 4:00 PM. These are estimated time frames and may not take that amount of time. Once all donations are gone, the store would close.
We are ideally looking for someone to manage the store between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM. If that is one person or multiple people that is fine. If someone is interested in setting up the store and then working the store, that would work too.
