Volunteers are needed to serve as budget coaches at the Financial Empowerment Seminar planned collaboratively with La Casa de Esperanza and sponsored by CIBM Bank. This free seminar will be available to clients from United Way partner agencies and local community organizations who are looking to develop basic financial skills; including developing and managing a family budget, strategies on how to save, and how to avoid ongoing debt. Volunteers will be matched one on one with guests and guide them through basic budgeting worksheets and strategies. Volunteers will be given budget planning materials and a pre-event conference call orientation in advance of the event.
