A great event has great preparation. The day before is just as critical! We need your assistance to organize, place supplies, stage rooms and move product at Marquette's Alumni Memorial Union. Lead an area or support a team leader - we have a little some thing for everyone's gifts and talents.
Set-up volunteers will help assist in making Project Homeless Connect a success! The set-up crew will be responsible for unloading and moving boxes to their appropriate assigned rooms, setting up the rooms, placing signs and creating a welcoming atmosphere for the day of the event.
Other duties include hanging and arranging clothing, organizing and setting up the hair salon, preparing resource tables, etc. This annual event is part of the plan to end homelessness and we look to assist over 500 guests this year.
