Bradley Crossing is a supportive, integrated housing community in Brown Deer for families and individuals with and without disabilities. The average household income of our residents is $18,500. At the holidays, we like to provide several layers of support, including gifts for the children and non-perishable supplemental food supplies.
On Saturday, December 14, we need a small group of volunteers to help us pick up a bulk food order from Aldi, transport it back to housing, and unload it (assembly planned the next day). We also need volunteers to help us pick up toys from a toy drive, transport them, sort them and store them for distribution the following week.
This is a perfect opportunity for a small group of volunteers who are able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time and who want to do some behind-the-scenes elf duties in the spirit of the holiday season.
