Community Conversations for 2020 Project Homeless Connect

Expired

Description

Join us for a new opportunity, Community Conversations during Homeless Awareness Week. To prioritize the safety and health of our volunteers, clients, staff and community, this activity is virtual.

Sign-up for one of our one hour upcoming session for either noon or 5:00pm during October 18 through October 24. We will be using the GoToMeeting web-hosted service and your link will be sent to you with your personal confirmation from United Way one week prior to your scheduled time.

See the schedule below to sign-up today as space is limited to 12-15 people per session.

Community Conversations provide United Way with public knowledge that allows us to further engage the community, find new partners, develop strategies for improvement and mobilize resources around our community’s most pressing issues.

One of our goals in hosting Community Conversations during Homelessness Awareness Week is to identify themes around people’s aspirations, main concerns, and trusted resources related to the concept of “home.” This public data will be used in fine-tuning United Way’s Safe & Stable Homes initiative to end family homelessness by 2025. Another goal is to connect people with and without the lived experience of homelessness through conversation.

Learn more and join the fight for Safe & Stable Homes.

This opportunity replaces the Client Advocate volunteering for 2020 Project Homeless Connect.

*Shifts may change due to sign-up and you will be notified of any changes.
