United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County and the American Red Cross are partnering for a blood drive on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
If you're healthy and feeling well, you can help ensure hospitals have enough blood on the shelves and receive insight into whether you may have been exposed to this coronavirus.
The Red Cross is now testing all blood, platelet & plasma donations for COVID-19 antibodies.
If you have fully recovered from COVID-19, there is an urgent need for convalescent plasma. As coronavirus cases increase, hospital demand for this potentially lifesaving treatment has more than doubled.
