Cancer Companion volunteers are needed at Aurora Medical Center Summit.
Cancer Companions will visit with the patients during their treatment. They will also stock supplies and provide patients with items that will make them more comfortable. Cancer Companions assist with sanitizing the department, as well.
Please visit https://www.aurorahealthcare.org/patients-visitors/volunteer to complete an online application. After your application has been received, you will receive an email in regards to the next steps.
All Cancer Companion volunteers need to be at least 18 years of age and commit to at least 64 hours of volunteering during a calendar year.
All volunteers are required to have the COVID 19 vaccination by October 15, 2021. Volunteers will need to wear masks and maintain proper social distancing.
