Health Equity Lunch and Learn Program Serving Aging Black Women in Milwaukee.
The Center for Leadership of Afrikan Women’s Wellness (CLAWW) is seeking a dedicated part-time Program Coordinator (volunteer) to support our Health Equity Lunch and Learn Program, designed specifically for aging Black women. This individual will work closely with the Executive Director in person on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00–5:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make calls to schedule and confirm Lunch and Learn Workshops, guest speakers, and venues.
- Coordinate healthy menus with the caterer
- Arrange for food, set up, and clean up
- Take attendance and maintain data/records
- Manage online registration for healing circles
- Stay in touch with participants through emails, texts, and follow-up messages
- Send personalized invitations to encourage continued participation.
Qualifications:
A competitive candidate will be:
- Committed to the healing and empowerment of Black women who have experienced trauma,
- Punctual and reliable, with the ability to honor commitments,
- Organized with strong time-management skills,
- Comfortable with basic communication tools (phone, email, text).
