Student Tutor/Mentor

Description

We are seeking a volunteer who is academically focused and can help support our site by tutoring elementary-age children (ages 6-13), providing one-on-one assistance to students with their schoolwork/homework assignments, reading, and engaging in educational games & activities. Tutoring, AI-assist in clubs/activities 

This will include guiding and encouraging youth while also fostering positive learning habits, building confidence, and addressing any potential social or emotional barriers to learning that may impact their academic performance.

Please note that this is the first step of the volunteer application process. Before your first volunteer shift, you must complete the MCC application and have it processed with the MCC Volunteer Coordinator, Arlene Gonzalez. Generally, this process will take 1-2 business days upon your application.
